Nancy had a life that was painted for her, perfect to look at and beautiful to admire. She was smart, pretty, and full of so much life. Everything was turning up colorful and bright for her... she felt untouchable. She felt invincible. But then it crumbled, it cracked, and fell apart. Barb, her best friend, went missing and no one (not even that perfect boyfriend she'd painted into frame) believed her that something terrible had happened. So Nancy changed. She became the person she needed to be in order to find the answers no one else was giving her. She dove and she dug until she learned the truth, a truth that forever reshaped her world. She was no longer that perfect suburban princess... she was a fighter and she was never going to back down again.As the years passed so did Nancy's innocence and precious outlook on life. She found herself stepping into leader positions and situations that called for her to be stronger than any time before than. Each situation, each fight... harder than the last, but not enough to make her stop. Not enough to ever make her run. And when her family is put on the line... she fights harder. She puts herself right in the line of fire, right in the lion's den and shoots it right in the mouth. But if only that had been enough...When Holly goes missing and her parents wind up in critical condition, Nancy blames herself... blames the situation of knowing and never telling them. She knew this could happen and she never stopped to think about what would change if she'd told them the truth, but it was too late. Nancy, once again, had to fight. She had to wield her gun, her words, her mind, and she had to be better than the last time. She couldn't be reckless, but she could be severe and act. And she did. Nancy put herself in line with the enemy once again, put herself right at its hungry mouth and fought it tooth and nail. She looked death in the face for the sake of her family and made sure it knew she wasn't scared. Nothing could ever scare her again. She was stronger than what nightmares had been placed in her mind.And so here she stands after the dust settled, tall and proud. She fought for a life that she now gets to control, a life that she will never be ungrateful for. She'll never strive for that perfection she once painted, but why would she? Imperfections were what made life exciting... and she was ready to be excited.

In that time she started up a blog of her own called WHEELER WRITES where she posts stories, interviews bother written and audio, and videos involving this or that. The website has garnered a large following to where Nancy has considered taking up doing a podcast on the side just to add to it.
